2013 Highlights

First of all, HAPPY (late) NEW YEAR! So, on New Year’s Eve 2012, I posted a bunch of highlights from the year. I was so prepared. And for NYE 2013, I was in Paris and well on my way to a cheese and Champagne-induced coma. Sooo.. I wasn’t prepared. But, better late than never, right?

Let’s take a gander at all the delightful things 2013  threw my way!

Celebrating Christmas and New Years in Paris. There was so much cheese and wine involved. Oh, and finally meeting the Romantic-half (and Hubs) of The Lazy Travelers in Paris!

The great move of 2013. And, of course, the fabulous house-warming party we threw. I still need to share that spinach dip recipe..

Helping my cousin celebrate her wedding in nothing short of fabulous style. And, of course exploring Miami for her bachelorette party.

This little angel being born. I’m sure she’ll be just as adorable as nugget #1, Alice.

I used my crockpot for the first time. Although, I was reminded I used it in Prague, but I say foreign country-use doesn’t count.

Will someone please tell me that 2013 flying by (and 2014 starting to as well) isn’t a sign I’m getting older? Pretty please? Despite my fear of leaving 20-something-dom in a few years, I can’t wait for all of the fun things I have planned in 2014. A little preview: eating and drinking my way through Denver for a weekend, Week 1 of Coachella (again!), I swear I’m going to make candy with my candy thermometer (and share that spinach dip recipe..), and the list goes on. I look forward to sharing them with you!

About In Natalie's Shoes

I’m a twenty-something food fanatic. By day, I’m working for a non-profit, by night I’m dreaming of becoming a domestic goddess, creating adorable crafts to gift and engineering delicious home cooked meals for the fabulous dinner parties I’ll one day throw. I love to travel, locally, regionally… heck, even internationally, I don’t discriminate too much when it comes to a new destination. I am a little obsessed with taking photos of the food I eat, whether I make it or pay to eat it. It is my firm belief that a girl can never have enough purses or too many shoes. I plan to fill this lovely little blog with my adventures in food, travel, and craftiness. I hope you enjoy!
