2012 Highlights

Is it just me, or did 2012 fly by? I’m still trying to make sense out of the year that is a total blur. From trips to homemade gifts, and of course heaps of recipes, here are my highlights from 2012–complete with pictures:

Starting this blog. You know you love it. Or you’re trying really hard to.

I’m still in shock that 2012 is already coming to a close. But I can’t wait for all of the fun things I have planned in 2013, which include: Paris for Christmas, a bachelorette party that I’m 90% sure is happening in Miami, making good use of my new candy thermometer (and overcoming my massive fear of making candy..), a wedding in Austin and another in Monterey, crafting the vast majority of my Christmas presents (guys, I think I’m gonna make soap), Week 1 of Coachella, and the list goes on… Here’s to a fun and fabulous 2013!

About In Natalie's Shoes

I’m a twenty-something food fanatic. By day, I’m working for a non-profit, by night I’m dreaming of becoming a domestic goddess, creating adorable crafts to gift and engineering delicious home cooked meals for the fabulous dinner parties I’ll one day throw. I love to travel, locally, regionally… heck, even internationally, I don’t discriminate too much when it comes to a new destination. I am a little obsessed with taking photos of the food I eat, whether I make it or pay to eat it. It is my firm belief that a girl can never have enough purses or too many shoes. I plan to fill this lovely little blog with my adventures in food, travel, and craftiness. I hope you enjoy!
